Spellcheck?

For some reason my spellcheck is showing me the misspelled word and the correct spelling, but not actually changing the misspelled word?? Any ideas?

The spell check has been an issue for months in the beta and they still didn't fix it by the time the mainline branch got its update September 9th.

I am confused. When you said use Google, did you mean Google Chrome browser, or something else?!

Chrome or any browser, sure. Built in spell check.

Okay, thanks.
Please note Google is not Chrome, nor other way round. :)

(Besides Google Chrome, they have lots of other products too.)

I am currently using the forums via Google Chrome myself, not via the Steam PC client.
(And I have Firefox as 2nd/backup web browser.)
