Absolutely fantastic game.
aye, you will probably get longer playtime and more replayability out of BG3 if such things matter to you.
I can't speak to the story of BG3, but Clair Obscur has one of the best stories I've played in a long time.
You're actually not made aware of many details about the story until much later, when you can then look back and truly understand what certain things meant. It provided wonderful revelations.

They're all good though.
TRUE bestie, true.
i just reached meat world in my first 2.0 playthrough. this game has come such a long way from vanilla. was already 10/10 to me at launch, its 20/10 now.
There is a sale coming up relatively soon. Could get one now if you can't wait (CO, since it's shorter?) and grab the other on sale.
But yeah, CO's combat has timed parry/dodge as a big part of it, so if that's not your thing. . .
/shrug
Wait for sale at end of month and maybe you can buy both.
Good point, John. BG3 is turn based, and for this reason I'd pick Clair Obscur. Turn based combat is kinda boring.
