Maybe consider using the tools available to you before you delete your account, the block and report feature, once a person is blocked they can no longer contact you.

As for scammers, if anyone sends a friend invite, ignore it, problem solved.

Failing that, don't click links you are sent, never give out your personal details to anybody.

You have been a member of Steam for 7 years, it would be a shame to delete your account when you have options available to you to stop these people.

This means all your 570 games will be gone for good.

more then likely this is a hijacked account.

0 times for me, not accepting random friend requests from cs players and private profiles helps a lot, plus there's a browser extension to show who has vac bans in your friend list saving a lot of time on the cleaning up.

This account has obviously been hijacked.

Scammers go for public inventories, usually expensive ones, showcasing a knife attracts pests for example.

Yea it's like flaunting extreme wealth and then wondering why you being robbed

That said as mentioned it's permanent there's no going back so be weary.

You only get robbed if you are careless. All good as long as you stay updated of current scamming methods.

Sounds like one of those type of people that want to commint suicide for attention, and wants everyone to know there doing it, then want someone to tell them not to do it. Ive seen this type of person in real life before, and actually helped several of them, but since i am familiar with this method, i can spot it in links like this.

For the users above who can't work it out, the person who posted this is not the account owner. Their account has obviously been hijacked.
