this is awesome for 60 fps on my old ass 1080 tv
but i am not willing to spend more than 4 on it
it may wind up being a loss for them if they go that low
no clue what it is costing per unit,
but it is older tech they are using so fingers crossed
anything more and i will just get off my ass and build one from my parts
i have been saying that for a long time, though
You do know they have the raw data right? And while the results on the survey page might not parse or display all the data precisely, that may not mean there's a problem with the raw data. And even if there is some fuzziness on some details of the data it doesn't mean overall that the body of data is random gibberish or inaccurate to the point of useless.
Besides, why does everyone seem to think Valve has no clue about PC hardware, PC gaming, or how to use data? I mean Steam is doing pretty well for being managed by clueless fools if we assume rando user fears and concerns have any merit. Or maybe the problem is the misplaced worries about the expertise Valve has.
especially with 30+ million log-ins a day
they are overflowing with the numbers they need for a stable/legit survey
If they do show it..
