New Steam Hardware can't be added to wishlist
hey there,

I can't add anything on the wishlist on these page or the other new pages https://psteamproxy.yuanyoumao.com/sale/hardware

Does not work for me. Not Steam app, not in mobile app, not browser.
When I click the button it does something than reverts back. Can't find any of the items on my wishlist.

Visiting the page from germany.

I tapped the stars in the app under the products and they were added to my wishlist.

Doesn't work for me either. Tapping the stars immediately removes the star again and it doesn't show up in the wishlist.
Relogging doesn't work either.

Same for me. Also tried Steam app, mobile app and browser. Can't add any of the new hardware pieces to my wishlist.

No idea if this could be the reason, but could the hardware wishlist act as a queue for preorders? Is that why some are unable to wishlist?

If you are in latin america -> Valve doesn't ship there
If you are in Germany -> Hardware doesn't have age rating so they can't show on store

Well that applies to me then. But it sounds like a bug?! Hardware wouldn't need to have an age rating...

They potentially just forgot about their own store forcing the age ratings and I guess hardware entries are like a special setup someone potentially simply forgot. Waiting myself, too. 😉

It's just odd basically none of the German news outlets even mentioned this, feels as if they (once again) all just copied the press release and did no original research at all.

No. Valve did the $5 deposit for the Steam Deck queue.

It's simply not true. I can see all previous steam hardware on the store in Germany. The new stuff doesn't have normal store pages yet. And there is nothing like an age rating for hardware in our country.
(We Germans are insane with regulations. But not THAT insane ;-) ):praisesun:

That being said: I have the same problem wishlisting.

I thought i was going insane. I have a German steam account and hope it’s just a bug and not a precursor that valve doesn’t want to release this in germany on day 1 or something
