"Redundancy" as a ban reason is being abused for arbitrary bans
Having "redundancy" as a ban reason is basically a loophole to ban everything and everyone as almost everything related to humanity can be regarded as "redundant". It is vague.

There are 8 billion humans on the planet, 99.9% of which havent had a unique thought in their life. Everytime anyone gives their opinion its guaranteed to be redundant.
If you use grammarly, everything you say is by design redundant as its AI trained.
99.9% of food products and consumer goods in general are redundant. Just have 1 type of nutritious soylent goop.
99.9% of youtube is redundant content.
99.9% of creative arts writing and music is redundant as it just reuses already existing concepts and ideas.

Theres a million jester farm lgbt inclusion threads made by people who dont give 2 fecks about gay rights that you do nothing about because you dont actually care about them being redundant to hell and back.

If you could, in the meantime, do something about the steam forum basically turning into the same botting heaven that reddit already is i would appreciate it. But dont do it based on redundancy. Use something thats actually able to target more specific aspects.

There are no steam or valve staff / employees, moderators, admin, support in this user to user only steam sub-forum that can help you. Steam / valve will never read your thread or post here.

This is a user subforum, no Steam here.

As far as rants go, this one was actually pretty entertaining.

Rants about being moderated for redundancy... replies to own thread with redundant response.

I'm assuming you got the "spamming" message
Your post has been identified as spam because it contains content that is off-topic or redundant. When posting in the Community, please ensure that your posts are both constructive and unique
Pretty clear that it isn't just "generic" redundancy that leads to that warning

So what? We can join together and communicate, perhaps even organize events, boycotts, advise people to never post on multiple forums, etc. Frankly if you believe this, if steam doesnt even look at it's own public forums, then it isnt even following basic responsibilities of a merchant and as such should be subject to immediate questions of competency.

no. i got the message that what i posted was redundant, creates arguments, some other vague nonsense. it was actually a post that the moderator disagreed with and marked as redundant to get me banned for 24 hrs.
Likely got flagged as spam, as bumping with no new dialogue/discussion is just that.

Correction: It's considered off topic content.

Examples of off-topic content include:

Spamming
Posting topics in incorrect hubs
Re-posting closed, modified or deleted content
Derailing a discussion or topic
Bumping threads

Simply stop doing what ever it was that lead to a ban. We have no idea what it was for and discussing it here really will not do much for it.

there is no way to 'simply stop' when mods are abusing their power against anything they don't agree with.

You're right I think AI would use the term 'soylent goop'
