Possible scammer

someone from a server i am in on discord messaged me saying that accidentally reported my account on steam. steam never sent me a message of my account being suspended in 12 hours. and the person who said they reported me was blowing up my inbox with "have you messaged them" but the second i start actually talking to the "steam" employee they stop messaging me all together. and the steam employee is pushing for my transaction history because they reported me for an illegal purchase but i just dont know if this is a scam or not because its new and different and i havent seen anyone talking about it and whenever i ask the employee questions i just get glossed over. they are acting like i couldnt be getting scammed and arent really considering my feelings on the fact and are more talking it personal that i said they could be scamming me. im messaging the steam person on discord because that it what the person who reported me said to do but im just not sure about what to do so i thought this might be the best place to get a decently fast answer and not have to be awake all night worrying about it.

Absolutely nothing suspicious about random people on Discord being aggressive about your supposed ban on an entirely different platform.

If you dont get a message through Steams own system, not their chat, its not real.
Especially not from random strangers claiming to be this and that or having done this and that.

They were asking for your transaction history because that is apparently used in the account recovery process, potentially working towards stealing your account entirely.
Why would you need to give this to Steam yourself? They have all the data on their end already.
They wouldnt have to ask you for it if there truly was some "illegal purchase."

You use discord. That is something you should not use. It is a third party loader. It loads games. Yes, look it up on google. There called discord activities. Anything that loads games is a front end loader of them, or third party loader. Also, why use discord if you cannot spot a scam? There are already enough scammers on steam. STOP USING DISCORD!

It’s not that I can’t spot a scam it’s that it was from a small server so I figured it was less likely I knew it was a scam the second the person started blowing up my phone with if I had messaged them I was just messing around with them after that but I thought some confirmation would be nice
