cant download any games. keep getting corrupt download and download unavalable

im able to update games i already have, cant get anything new tho
its the same on all my drives
on windows 7 and have been using this same pc for over 10+ years, never run into this problem before.
cleared download cache, nothing
its gotten worse as some games now update into this and get bricked on your system.
games ive played for 8+ years now wont download. its not all of them but it is MOST of them

No, you couldn't. No matter how many alts you use to give yourself awards. Every time you made a purchase on Steam you agreed to the following:

For reasons that include, without limitation, system security, stability, and multiplayer interoperability, Valve may need to automatically update, pre-load, create new versions of or otherwise enhance the Content and Services and accordingly, the system requirements to use the Content and Services may change over time.

You consent to such automatic updating.

Windows 7 is unsupported. Therefore, you cannot get any help for issues on that operating system. As your PC is a decade old, it is possible that the drives are failing.

He didn't, but I'm not surprised you'd jump to that.

You're still not getting any help other than the recommendation to buy a PC with a current OS if you want support.

Yes. Upgrade to a supported OS, one of which includes current versions of Linux. The time of the horse and buggy are over. If you want to continue to use the Information Super Highway, you will need to get a gas (or electric) powered vehicle. Simple as.
