Play time is behind a privacy setting. This can not be forced upon everyone.
A mouse icon next to their name at least shows ownership.
A violation of privacy.
Developers have to leave one forum open for everyone and they choose which one.
You have commented on forums of games you do not have on Steam. Dark Souls II being one example.
to many fixes or even valid conversations are started by people playing on other options....from consoles to even other store fronts on PC, most of the input is valid....
for the people that have the game on steam a MOUSE icon will be displayed next to their name IF your in the forum for that game.....hovering your mouse over their name will bring up a window showing hours in game IF they have the account set to open....if set to private you will only see the mouse icon.....
in closing.....people need to understand how SMALL steaming pile really is.....i have played with some people for just at 15 years now with them never buying a single game on steam and being only PC players....from WoW to battlefield many people dont use steam
