no at all, the thing is extending to every title, moreover titles already released are being modified
you are about 10 years too late to protest
What is happening now on Steam has never happened before. There are laws that must be respected. Payment processors are not allowed to act as content censors.
The only games removed were very specific adult only sexual content games.
Age verification is a different thing, I'm talking about censorship that occurs at the request of payment managers
That's what I thought, but it seems like they're eliminating nsfw games, preventing the release of subsequent seasons.
To be hones, im quite surprised that those games are openly sold in the US, as Sexual Content is there usually rated for Adults only (aka 21+) and not sold openly in regular stores (as far as i as a non US Citizen know)
If I want to play porn games I wouldn't be buying them from some place that is monitoring my play.
Will not miss it when it's gone from steam.
The Payment processors are simply saying.. you sell this stuff then we don't do business with you.
Which is weird since the have no problem being used to purchase like actual crazy porn with real people, and things like sex dolls and dildos of all manner of shapes sizes and flavours.
