2. hello i am the very valid moderator contacting you out of the blue and i have, what a coincidence, the same ticket numbers this other guy has been feeding you, please send me your valuables
That's just the first part of the scam, it keeps going until you start getting links to "fix the problem" or "correct a misunderstanding" of some sort.

I'm in full agreement with the other posts, it will lead to a scam.
I've been acting super chill in the chat, saying I'm sure that the steam mods will be able to figure out the issue, since obviously I haven't made any purchases - I'm just gonna tell this guy that I'll let the mods handle it.
