Also, I've looked through the forum and I'm not seeing a single post describing the behaviour said. Are you banned from that forum or something?
To be honest, all game forums should be locked to game owners only. It would make them a slightly better place.
They can't lock it to game owners only, because there has to be at least one sub-forum for everyone, which they do have.
They've just done it maliciously, so they can ignore the opinions and questions of anyone who doesn't own their horrendously overpriced game
Forums should be open to anyone, some people want to ask questions before buying the game, such as in Diablo IV some asks if the Battlenet launcher is required on the Steam version.
They do have a sub-forum for everyone.

Look at the sub-forums box on right hand side.
The first is titled ''General discussions'' is locked for game owners only
The second sub-forum is titled ''For those that dont have the game'' and has count of 4 thread posts...this is public use for all.
I had made a thread on it here if you want to read up, we've gone over a lot of the issues and why its happening - https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/discussions/forum/7/597412591711794450/
TLDR is basically they ignored everyone's feedback and are in damage control and making the worst choices they could possibly make while doing so. Game is dead, and everyone who bought it is going to be out $60 when it shut's down.
There was a post like that, I had a thread politely discussing the price point and the dev basically said if your too poor to afford it oh well. They nuked the thread completely and banned myself and others who posted in it when youtube and news articles reported on the post. Feel free to look at my artwork and you can see the ban for instance.
I simply don't like multiplayer, that's all...
Its a MMO with a peak player count of like 20 people.....
So it is multiplayer. That's all I need to know. Welp... not like I'm going to bother with that kind of game, I hate playing with others.
Well to be fair its probably the only MMO that you could play and not really see many others, i mean as of now there are 5 in game lol.
I don't need your opinion to realise that a cheap Marvel/DC knockoff made to be played as a MMORPG that you pay upfront and still need to pay a subscription fee is to be avoided...
The rating as of writing this is also at 25%. No wonder why.
Dead by Daylight’s forum is locked in the same way. Usually a sign of devs/mods who can’t handle constructive criticism well (in my experience). To clarify: I think it’s fine to temporarily lock your forums to owners only if a game’s being brigaded by bad actors (anti-woke brigadiers, targeted bullying campaigns, etc), but perma-locking or locking when most people are simply telling you your product isn’t going to survive due to the quality in relation to what you’re charging for it + the attitude of the devs/mods is…well, almost universally a bad look. As is mass banning people for constructive criticism on your subforum.
Because I’m 99% sure that by Steam’s rules devs HAVE TO have at least one part of their forum open to all Steam users. In DBD’s case it is (or was, IDK, I don’t go there anymore) Off-Topic.
People can still snag a perma-ban from those public subforums if the devs/mods decide to go on a little power-trip against anyone who says anything that isn’t straight up bootlicking, though (and permabans from subforums can affect your Steam account’s status).
The main reason why DbD have their forum policed like it is already is because of the type of players this kind of game attract in the first place.
Some people wanted to watch a train wreck, and to torment those with some investment. Simply put they came to the games forum to troll, and they're irritated that the developers didn't oblige. That the developers shut them down out of the gate, and created a safe space for the hardcore supporters. I kind of respect them for being so internet savvy.
You guys don't have any business being there, and you are not contributing anything of value. At the end of the day you're there to get your rocks off, farm the dead on arrival title for free content, or to try to get yourselves clowned. In other words you came with ill intentions no matter what you claim. You came for a show, and you didn't get one.
They threw it out there so they could throw it away.
