EA support doesn't work off steam forums. Heck, Steam support doesn't even do that.
EA games are made by EA, not by Steam. Steam can't do anything about it.
I think you've made some bad assumptions about how Valve operates if you think that.
The only way Steam can do that if government will make laws that prohibit use of launchers. Then Steam would be forced to abide the laws of country where it distributes game.
3rd party accounts are connected from their end, not Steams. You cannot unlink such an account from Steams end, since there is nothing to unlink for them.
It's not a Steam issue you are running into, it's an EA issue. And you have to go to EA to solve that.
