How the trading cards can be improved
So basically you earn half the trading cards for the game you are playing and then you need to buy the other ones witch I think can be changed. My idea is that after you acquire half the cards from playing you then unlock the rest of them by doing a challenge in-game like kill certain number of enemies and etc. basically you do a challenge to unlock one of the cards and then another challenge for another card.

It would be cool if there was a game you could play with them.
Right now they are just money when I'm desperate for games.

The entire point of it is to engage with other users through trading and the Market.

I don't see this happening, unless Valve removes the trading/market alltogether. Otherwise as mentioned by zirkustier it would be changing a money making machine into a money sink.

I guess you are right but it will be cool to just be able to earn the other half of cards by doing a challenge in the game. But like you said Valve and Steam are greedy bastards and they want as much money as they can get their hands on
