Not so new as you think. 7 years ago, Steam rejected a game from the "A kiss from the petals" series. Ironically, shortly after, the "almost anything goes" policy went into effect. But even with that policy in place, suggestive, erotic or explicit games with characters appearing too young would end up either rejected or delisted.

Their dumb pixel activism is just tiring at this point, negatively affecting Steam and other sites as a result.

Remember theyre more than happy to support Roblox, a game with a rampant predator problem, which also bans people trying to help fix said problem may i add.

More Adult "legal" games are getting taken down. Vara Dark just spoke on it. At this point, Visa and Mastercard are just pointing at things haphazardly, like the spoiled and obese kings they are.

I'd rather Valve go out fighting than be bullied into submission like some sissy pansy. It's humiliating to watch and I don't like it at all.

You really think they're gonna stop at adult games? They haven't and they won't. Nothing is safe. All payment processors gotta do is say they don't like something.

It has had no first order effect (US).

There are things happening that connect to it, but they are not necessarily correlated.

Also, its already confirmed that its payment companies forcing the censorship, this has been known for months now.

It is important, they shouldnt be allowed to censor games and such like theyre doing, its abuse of power.
