Really? Region-locking community hubs???

Up until recently, if a publisher made the game unavailable in your region, you couldn't access the store page for it. Now you can't access the discussions / reviews pages and so forth either. WTF?
It gets unlocked if you already own the game or get it gifted to you, but this still makes little sense.
e.g you can't look for tips / bug fixes if you own the game in another storefront, can't read reviews, guides. What the hell man. What brought this on?

nope, not really. it was a bug and its already fixed. if its still happening for you restart the steam client or force refresh your browser page

also why would you think that you are entitled to the community hub if you bought the game elsewhere?

Everybody should be entitled to speak their piece whether they own the game or not.

It's not about posting though, I don't necessarily agree with that guy. These are public pages that can be viewed by anyone. Hell, even if I hadn't bought the game, why shouldn't I be able to look at reviews?
And so far, it's not been "fixed", neither on browser or client, so I assume it was an intentional thing.

True. If they made the forums solely for the owners of the app that would've made more sense. But this change isn't.

Well, now it is for a) owners of the game from regions where it isn't available + b) everyone else from the rest of the world. So it's a bit of a mess

Any of the borderlands ones, any of the fallout ones, etc

If you had bought or activated the game on your account, and that game later got region restricted for your country, you will still have access to the hub despite the regional ban. The rule seems universal.

Of course you have no issues from OCE, the games are not banned there. OP is probably from Russia... That's the only place where these games are banned.
