What is it with all the off topic threads being created in a row in the past few days?

Are you a bot posting under so many different persona to do some kind of strange research paper like they've done a few month/a year ago or something? Or are we to begin the horrible realisation that the new gen is so completely cooked they look like AI bot slop asking generic question anybody worth their salt could answer with a 5 seconds Google search?

ah ya beat me to it, i was just about to suggest fear & hunger 1 and 2. the first game is definitely got a sharper learning curve, especially in the first half or so. but once you get the hang of things and learn from your mistakes the whole experience becomes much more fluid.

two of my favourite games of all time, funger 1 and 2.

YaeiJinja is an Anomaly game, where you guide a shrine girl to the 100th level. I have spent over 50 hours trying and only made it to level or step 24. The highest level in-game scoreboard is 28. There are over 60 anomalies, which does keep this game interesting and challenging.

battletoads and ghosts n goblins, mike tyson punch out (nes), Shadow tower (ps 1). I beat battletoads with all 9s in highscore, but getting points in that game is oddly too generous to start with. Shadow tower is an old game made by from software, its a dungeon crawler, the additional challenge is inventory management, on top of souls difficulty, and items found have limited durability when used, which would prompt someone to save good gear for hard encounters. I think the enemies did respawn too.

Many people have played Dwarf Fortress, but nobody has won the game yet.
