Only Windows 10 32bit support is being dropped.
Support stops in 2026 if you claimed the additional free year of support updates.
Personally, I won't be dumping Windows 10 anytime soon. I'll only really consider doing so after Valve announce an end date for their support of the OS.
I'll switch to Linux next year now.
Indeed, It was very easy, Two clicks and done. hassle free.
PS: If SteamOS becomes a mainstream operating system in the future that is fully supported and compatible with all hardware, drivers and games, Then i would use that instead for my gaming PC. A single OS updated and maintained indefinitely to handle all our gaming needs.
Leave Windows for those who are business mongols. Valve has the opportunity to make a fully independent steam operating system if they play their cards right.
Windows 10 still lives for 1 more year
