Once again, posting is not a requirement. You are tasked to search discussions and that's it. Posting used to be a requirement but people got sick of users spamming all over the forum.

still, yesterday i spent like 10-15 mins in steam discusions and nothing happened, perhaps there is some certain amount of discusions you have to visit to get the badge but i gues it doesnt matter now, i have the badge so i can try to get other badges

i understand what you mean but like i said i spent 15 min searching in steam discusions and nothing was happening, so i decided now to try everything

No, you likely did the search or whatever else you were missing and only just noticed the badge after you posted and are wrongly thinking that's why.

it used to be thats what im going on, when i did my badge the requirement was to post, so i still like to think its a requirement ( it kinda still is, you post something worthwhile and u get nice shiny badge as thanks)

Believing in something doesn't make it a fact. Posting has NOT been required for a badge for years and that's a FACT
