Transparent profile theme.

Hey,

I'm wondering how some people can have transparent profile theme. I tried every single theme available, so about 7 or 8 I think, and none of them are.

If you look at this profile, it's very transparent: https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/id/an_angel

I'm not talking about the artwork thing to blend with the background, I'm talking about the transparency of the "badges" area, on the right. You can see the background extremely well behind it.

How do I get this?

Do you have anything in mind? I'd like something that looks like the profile I posted. It's very transparent I like it a lot.

Edit: In fact I'd like full transparency if it's at all available.

I'm only going by the theme color that looks dark magenta or burgundy on the showcase.
I'm not sure which provides more transparency.

Nice, that looks like it's indeed quite transparent. However the progression bars you see on your games have a colour I don't really like. Is there anything that is black or white?

Also how we are supposed to find these? Do we just browse through every single profile available? That seems a bit annoying.

I tested it, the transparency looks nice. I proceeded to buy it, except nothing new shows up in "theme" under profile settings. :/

Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I got an avatar, avatar frame, profile background, and mini profile background. That's it.

I thought I would get another theme and that it was this that would give me more transparency.

Good thing it was only 5k.

Edit: Damn. It turns out seeing a profile from Firefox adds a lot more transparency than is actually the case.

I opened the profile I linked in my Steam client, and the badge part is kinda blurry now.

The theme is only the color and you can not change that.
Go to Special Profile in your edit profile page and it will be there.

Here, I made two screenshots.

You can see a huge difference in transparency between Firefox and Steam client.

I have no idea why that is. I would love to have the same level of transparency that I see on Firefox, but on Steam.

Ok, I went into Special Profiles. But when I activated it, it changed everything. I had to manually set my stuff back to what it was.

And the transparency is nowhere near what I thought it would be.

I guess only the Steam Deck theme is truly transparent for now.

Meh, I wasted 5k, but that isn't too much so it's alright.

It is indeed pretty transparent but still not 100%. :/

I don't know why Valve doesn't simply add a setting for that.

Same with mini profiles.

I don't want half my animated banner to be hidden by the non transparent stuff, it's a waste.

i have dying light one and its not 100% transparent like hes looking for. its as close as you can get sadly. there should be a transparent option idk why there isnt
