My steam status goes 'Away' while I'm playing a game and also 'on Mobile Device' icon appears next to my profile name eventhough I'm not signed in to Steam app on my mobile phone. But if I manually change my status to 'Online', it goes back to normal - showing that I'm not 'Away' and in-game.

Is there a way to fix this?

I have an issue like this, but it shows "online" but never when i go ingame it says ingame (name of game) it just stays at online and its not due to my privacy settings, i contacted steam support but nothing helpful really. It breaks online functions in some games, and is a pain when you try play with friends aswell.

The only thing we can do is wait for steam to fix it.
Been weeks now for me and steam have updated but solved nothing :(

been 4 freaking years and this still happens. wether its Celeste, Hollow Knight, or many other games, my mouse and keyboard inputs in those games dont count and Steam automatically sets my status to Away. really annoying
