Xbox One Controller
Since booting up my PC this morning, my xbox one controller is acting ridiculous. It is calibrated correctly, it just doesn't want to work with steam. I'm unable to press up or down on the left stick.
It works within the menu's on Windows 10 so I know its not faulty, but it doesn't work with steam. Wasn't a problem for the past few days, getting kind of frustrated. Any ideas?

Hi Johnny,

I'm not tech but I've got one idea. Do you have the green light on your controller ? It should be in a quadrant 1 - 4 for first player, second etc. You can end up with it on "player 2" which means some games won't recognise it. You need to delete the driver (google for problem and how to do it) and it reinstalls and it resets.

I was worried when I first read the solution that this was some sort of nasty trick to make you delete your drivers but it worked for me.
