steam deletes workshop content

After nearly update, steam always deletes workshop content. It starts downloading but when finishing download, it delete everything.

PS. reboot computer or restart steam solves nothing.

Right now steam seems to want to redownload all mod content for each game installed non stop every restart. Something seems broken due to the update.

Lost all my Conan Exile Mods from game. However the mods are all shown to be subscribed to.

At the bottom of Steam, there's the footer 'Downloads' that is showing as having downloaded 1 of 1 items. However if I click on it and open it up. There is several downloads not one!

Yup, same issue (5 games: Stellaris, Hearts of Iron 4, Imperator Rome, Kenshi, and Total War Warhammer 2)

Same here, after starting Steam it's deleting all workshop content except the content I created

Having the same bug / problem. My RimWorld mods are being removed (44 of them) when I log-out and log-in back in to Steam. Really annoying. It also says I am still subscribed to the mod, yet Steam deleted the mod for no reason. If I re-subscribe to the mod, it will re-download most of the mods it previously deleted, but not all of them. This is also happening to other games I have Workshop mods with, like Empyrion Galactic Survival and SimAirport.

Same with Rimworld mods, I got some back but am still missing alot

@CaveGirlDave Unfortunately clearing the cache is not working for me. After two Steam-reboots the issue is there again.

My 300something Rimworld mods are borked also.

There is only one thing we can do: write a ticket for the support, because this issue breaks the workshop.

Having this problem as well, particularly with Starbound workshop files.

Workshops for these games also seem to be affected, in addition to Starbound:
-Ultimate Arena
-Voxel Turf
-Fire Pro Wrestling World
-Superfighters Deluxe
-Don't Starve (maybe??)
