It would be a really handy QoL improvement though to include something like a legend of all, or at least currently held powerups in the pause screen. If rogue-lite inspired RPG mechanics are added to a game, there should really be similar menu info systems in place to explain them, as with any half decent examples of such games.
I strongly second this notion.
This should definitely be added as a quality of life improvement. I can't remember exactly what all of the perks do, simply based on the icons. This is especially so, since some of the icons are quite similar to each other but with different effects.
