Steam Remote Play Together controller issue

Whenever I try to play remote play together with friends, their Xbox controller B button does not work for them and they are unable to pick up items. I've disabled steam input for the controller but this does not alleviate the issue.

Edit: Seems if you go into Input options, your friend can set to legacy mode which changes the controls around some. They'll then use X to pickup items, not ideal, but at least it can help them play for the moment.

1) Can you tell me what OS is running on your and your friends' PC?
2) Can you send us your dxdiag via wetransfer or sendanywhere? Just copy/paste the transfer link to your next answer so I can forward it to the team.

I have this same issue, my friend can't pickup anything. We've played in the past without issue, but this is first time since update.

Edit: Seems if you go into Input options, your friend can set to legacy mode which changes the controls around some. They'll then use X to pickup items, not ideal, but at least it can help them play for the moment.
