Launching the game with a ps5 controller plugged in crash the game.

Same problem, launching it with a ps5 controller in crashed the game a few times, and when it did manage to load it didn't recognise the controller (other games recognised it just fine). Tried both connecting before and after launching, never occurred before the update

Same issue here. Went to play it with a controller and I only have a ps5 controller. The game does not recognize the controller at all. Now I can't play until this gets fixed. I am not a fan of playing these kinds of games with keyboard.

Could you please copy/paste the message you get when the crash occurs? That way, I can pass it on to the dev team, so they can investigate and fix this issue asap.

1.Yes
2.Yes like i said the issue crash on launch.
3.Dont know didnt played with the ps5 controller back then
4.Can you tell me where the crash dump file should appear ?

You can find your crash dump file here: C:\Users\[NAME]\Documents\Streets of Rage 4 Save and Config

The file should look like this : "crash_2021_Jul29_10h37m12s".

Hey guys, it's me again.

For all of you who are having problems with PS5 controllers. It looks like you need to enable the Steam input option in order to be able to play with this controller. Otherwise, it will not be properly supported.

Here's how to do so:

○ Go to your Steam Library
○ Right click on the game
○ Go to Properties
○ If your Steam Input option is disabled, enable it
○ Launch the game
