Remote Play Issues

Hey Guys,

So I tried having a remote play session with 2 friends who invited me to host on one computer. The good news is, there aren't any latency issues. The bad news is, I am experiencing very odd controller issues which prevent me from enjoying the game.

Essentially, I am player three, who is remote. Player one and player two are local playing on the same PC. When I connect and we start up survival mode, I realized that I cannot pick an upgrade. In fact, I can't pick up any items at all. We go to the input setup and see that I'm not in legacy mode, but pickup is binded to B. I can use my controller to back out to the gameplay, but I can't pickup any items.

There are other issues as well. In the character select screen, I can only switch color palettes for a character by pressing right trigger (Left trigger doesn't work). It's supposed to be left and right bumper.

Everything else works in the game as intended, but because I can't pickup items or upgrades, I will just eventually die. Has anyone else experienced this issue and is there a fix? I would really like to play this with a group of friends.

The development team is currently investigating and doing their best to find a fix to update the game accordingly.

1) Do these issues occur every time you play SOR4 (since DLC launch)?
2) Do these issues occur only when playing Remote Play Together? Have you tried to see if you've got the same controller issue when playing solo?
3) Have you tried to uninstall and reinstall or update your controller drivers?

Look forward to getting your answers!

bumping this so devs see it, needs fix asap. my coop pals are forced to use legacy mode which ends up badly with all the weapons lying around in survival

Thank you. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one with this issue. I've had to use legacy mode as well to play with some of my friends, which honestly isn't optimal in survival mode.

Hey thank you for getting back to me on this. I'll try to answer as best I can:

1) This issue mainly occurs when and connect to my friends PC via remote play. This issue does not happen when I play by myself, nor does it happen when I play normal online with a second player. I've never used remote play prior to this update so unfortunately I cannot answer that part.

2) Yes, this happens with remote play. I've used two different controllers: Nintendo Pro Controller and the Playstation 5 controller. Both had the same issues.

3) I have not tried this, no. The main reason why is because both my controllers and my friends controllers work on our respective devices. It's only when I remote into his PC that the issue happens.
