Ransomware is disabled and i have tried to recreate the folder but it didn't work
Thank you very much for reporting this!
Based on the number of the version you've got "v07-s r13031" the latest update isn't installed yet. Can you try to launch the update manually and see if the game still crashes. The right version of the game should be "r13056".
If the crash still occurs after updating the game, can you guys send us your dxdiag via Wetransfer? Just copy/paste the transfer link so the developers can upload it and check it out.
Thank you in advance!
Here's the link to the dxdiag and error message: https://we.tl/t-xpFroqpK89
I'll forward this to the development team right away!
To disable it do this:
1) Open search
2) Type "System Configuration"
3) Press the tab "Services"
4) Search for "Nahimic service" or press 'n' to fast search
5) Disable the check mark, to disable it.
Then restart and try to boot up SOR4. I'd love to know if you have nahmic installed and if so, if this fix worked for you as it did for me.
Thanks!
Also, the problem still persists after the update to version r13060M.
I have the same issue, but the game doesn't crash at all. It just doesn't even open in the first place but steam keeps saying i'm playing it. How do I launch the update manually?
The "update" button should replace the "play" button in your library if the game is not on the latest version, which for me is r13060M right now.
