That sounds really weird. Wifi controller maybe?

I have. Usually happens about 5 minutes after I boot up the game. Only seems to happen once per session, though.

Everybody says to disable steam controller input.
I think I got it even after that.
Well, annoying, but no big deal, I just click my mouse once to refocus the game window.

I think it's a separate issue. For same reason, Windows or the SOR4 application thinks you're clicking off of the app and losing focus.

I was wondering what it could have been, something with mouse tracking perhaps?

I remember I was having similar issues in other games when I had installed Citrix in my PC, uninstalling Citrix fixed the issue, it can be that in your PC another software is taking focus that is why the game pause, you need to check what software is doing that, can be antivirus for example.

EDIT: Best you can do is a clean windows boot, and test the game, and slowly add processes/programs to the list until you find the one causing the issue.

I don't think that's the issue. I don't have any applications that have a tendency to do that and it only happens with SOR4 and nothing else.

Is your game full screen or borderless window, because I had that issue in games that were borderless window, full screen games worked without issue.

1. Everytime.
2. Training mode too.
3. No idea.
4. PS4 controller & hori fightstick, wired.

1) How many times did the game pause itself when playing SOR4?
A: Only one time After you launch the game. After 5 minutes it will pause.

2) Do you confirm that the game doesn't only pause itself in survival mode but also happens in other game modes?
A: Happens in all Modes.

3) Was there any other app running in the background? If yes, can you tell me which one(s)?
A: Spotify

4) Which controller or fightstick were you using? Was it wired or Bluetooth paired?
A: Xbox One Elite Controller and Xbox One Standard Controller, Bluetooth paired.

1) more than 5 times after the latest updates.

2) Happens in any game mode.

3) probably just the PC antivirus.

4) Xbox 360 wired controller, Hori Fighting commander (wired too), Gamesir T4 via USB dongle.

It is noteworthy that here the game pauses and you can no longer continue!

1. 5-6 times in 2 days or so.
2. All game modes.
3. No other applications active/open.
4. Xbox BT wireless.

Tabbing out, then back in seems to fix the issue or allow to unpause/controller works again. Pause acts like I tabbed out or clicked another program or something.

Side note - Can't get remote play together to recognize the 2nd player's controller, it does in the remote play settings screen, it's set to the 2nd slot and when i click his controller there etc it vibrates, but the thing doesn't register in the game. Seems to set my KB+M to the 2nd player slot, and the 2nd player used his KB+M and ended up controlling the P1 cursor in player select lol. Anyone have any tips for this? Sorry if it's an easy fix this is my first time using remote play together.
