Issue 1: Simulation ended but we continued.

Description:
I joined a co-op lobby and did Survival Simulation , got to level 36 and died with a random teammate. The [Simulation Over] screen froze but the game was not frozen because I could still press Pause and move around.
After waiting around 1 minute or so , the game loaded us back in to a stage and we were able to continue. I thought it was weird and didn't have my controller in hand so we died again.

Issue 2: Co Op Boss Rush ended and the game crashed and has stopped working since then.

Description:
Same random teammate as before (we did not exit the session). That random team mate picked Boss Rush and we played > died on the the Snake women Duo.
The Game Over screen showed and it froze again. Just like before I was able to move , so this time I hit "Exit" to leave the session because I was going to stop and do single player.
As soon as I hit Exit on the Pause menu ,my game closed and a Notepad.txt file appeared saying the following:

"Smells like burned chicken! we are sorry for the inconvenience.
Please post this crash log on the steam forums, we will try our best to resolve it"

After going through this, my Streets of Rage 4 no longer opens/loads or works.
I've Reinstalled the game and updated my Graphics card. No luck.
I don't know what to do next except send the gamedump file to Dotemu and post this issue here on the forum.

Hope this was enough information to get the idea. Are there any remedies for this?
