We try to have a very high level of polish, big content also planned (modding, more monsters, traps, themes, masters, etc...).
I can understand for some people the price of the game can be high. No problem if you need to wait a sale (we will probably discount the game at -20/-25% during EA).
I myself am trying to buy less game, but I'm more picky and I always play the games I buy (not purchasing 10 games in sale and launch only one or two).
I'm not sure what constitutes as 'fair' to you, but I can give you some examples:
Darkest Dungeon. It's a finished game but you'd pay nearly double for a lot of features/mechanics and novelty items like music and art.

Iratus: Lord of the Dead. It's an early access game (It's still feature-locked in some ways, like 40% accessible campaign) with a supporter pack. I'd say this is a very good example for Legend of Keepers

Slay the Spire. It's on the Switch too and had a pretty nice following.

Deep Sky Derelicts. It's more developed but still updating and adding new DLCs.

Basically, what they all have in common is that they're rogue-likes that had a early-access stage where it's released but relatively unfinished in features while they provide purchases (DLCs) to support them. Users buy them for their potential and content throughout the development. Darkest Dungeon is a very good example that date back nearly half a decade.
I'm just saying that the price isn't as high as you'd think. It's rather on-par with many other small studio titles. People pay more trying to compete in online mobile games with a lot of in-app purchases.
And the gameplay itself is not even on the Deep Sky level (which is the weakest of 4 games above, btw). So yeah, for 20 bucks that's not too good.
What is the future like ?
First, you're welcome to go to the video section of this game and search for some proofs.
Second, I'm not a big streamer but even that is a huge hit on your privacy and personal life. I'm mostly doing guides so people can enjoy games more and spend their time better. I'm not streaming to become everyone's personal friend, Your profile is open - random people begin asking irrelevant questions, writing you long accolades on some game being not worth your time and whatnot. Your profile is closed - you get to do your stuff without much disturbance.
Though in fairness if you replay the game a lot you MIGHT get your moneys worth, but pound for pound its going to lose to nearly every roguelike/lite.
Like lets be real, there is no way you should buy this over Streets of Rogue or Slay the Spire or something
