Anyone else remember the Axis and Allies game these guys made?
I have it here, added it to my Steam library, but from what I gather it's like this game but for World War 2. And that's not on Steam for some reason even though it came out a month after this game. And now the only people who know about it on other places are like "aw man that game was cool too bad I lost the CD key".

am in the only person in the world who still has that game?

everybody thinks this game is so great right?
surely somebody who plays this game has axis and allies?

Yeah I played Axis and Allies a bit and yep it's broadly Kohan II with a WW2 re-skin. I enjoyed playing it (certainly more than Company of Heroes) but still think I'd rather play Kohan.
Also long ago lost the CD.

Does this game have cool melee battles and stuff? I always enjoyed the little explosions of dirt that happened when people were shooting at eachother in A&A.

It's a great game but artillery was OP.

Yes I remember Axis and Allies, but never played it much, still have game data resources thou because I've used them as guideline and resource stock to adapt General Powers as Global Powers for my Kohan 2 mod Arcane Wars.
There are some notable differences between games as AA don't uses buildable settlements, company commanders/heroes and utilises General Powers and faction experience, multiple islands and naval units.
From what I've gathered there was also quiet active community for AA as there are several mods for this game on ModDB page, don't know if they are still active, but it may be worth checking.
