Is the Barbershop Quartet game glitched/bad/i'm garbage?
Loving this game a whole lot so far! But i'm really stuck at the barbershop minigame. When it comes to hovering the spotlight i always seem to just instantly rack up X's, I think it might be because the spotlight is a lil too wide to manuever between members without accidentally touching one (which i guess counts as a mistake). but i swear on the second round when i select the large gator on their turn it still counts as an X. Has anyone else had this problem? If i'm just being trash i'd atleast like to just know.

We're testing a fix for this bug right now, and we'll push it to Steam some time in the next couple hours. If you close and reopen Steam at 10pm EST, you should have a fix that makes the game less randomly punishing.

On my first try I had the same problem. But on second try I nailed it. Just keep the light on right alligator and don't mind getting two or three X. If you finish it less than five X you will win.

It took a couple of tries to get this right for me, I think I was mixing up two similar background patterns. I also swept the mouse quickly between soloists when the white bar hit their pattern.

Keep the light on their faces and not their whole body. Thats what worked for me

I was absolute garbage at it. Got someone else to beat it for me :buzzed: Can confirm that putting the light on their face rather than their body works.

This seems borderline impossible...?
I hate it.

Tried it THREE times and utterly failed every single time, such utterly frustrating garbage in an otherwise wonderful game. This and the irritating magazine minigame made me think about actually refunding the game, that's how annoying they were.
