When will more weapons comes to the game

I’m played this game and I noticed that there a weapon star for melee but there only a gun so far so is there any melee weapons in the game and if not can you tell me when there will be any

The developer has noted that several new firearms are being developed for Hunt And Snare, including a pistol, a sniper rifle, and a simpler alternative to the Stinger rifle;

By the looks of it, these will likely become available before the year is out.

I figure it will be soon, just didn't know how soon, lol. Are these new additions still being tested in the Beta game before the release or is that no long a thing?
