Have you got other controllers connected to your computer, like flightsimulation controls (yoke, joystick, throttle quadrant, rudder pedals) or a game control? Or even Oculus Rift, perhaps? Try rebooting your PC without them connected. They could be hijacking the cursor. Disconnecting my other controls besides the keyboard and mouse solved my issue.
If I run the demo in windowed mode, I can see a cursor if I move to the edges, but as soon as I try to move it into the window it disappears. I even tried a steam controller but that doesn't seem to do anything either. Oh well, I hope the final finished game has ironed out problems like this!
