[Guide] How to Enable NSFW CGs and voiceover After you get the Patch
Q1: How to add the copy the Patch?

A1:

Thanks to other players, they mentioned that you need to buy patch from this website https://jastusa.com/sweet-pool-dlc

However, the read-me-instructions.txt might give people wrong instructions...

"Instructions

1. Copy the files in the patch folder to your game's folder.
2. Overwrite the game files with these new files.
3. Start the game."

In fact you need to copy the whole patch folder. The patch folder is called "patch" with 3 .npk files inside (yeah! the one named patch) and do not change or overwrite any game files with these new files. I followed the insturctions first but it failed. So I tried a different way and downloaded the missing file again by checking game files from steam.

This time it worked!
When I opened the save file, I found two different save files on my computer.
1.00
1.00S

I guess the latter one is the new file for the new content XD

Thanks for bring Sweet Pool to steam! I have played it long time ago on psp and still love it a lot.
Also thanks for everyone who bought the game and discussed it!

Q2: What should I do if I have overwriten the file already?

A2: You don't need to redownload the whole game, actually you can right click the game from library to view the game property panel. Then cilck LOCAL FILES and click the button VERIFY INTEGRATIY OF GAME FILES. It will automatically download the missing file instead of redownloading the whole game.

Or you can google Verify Integrity of Game Files on steam to see how it works.

Q3: Will two versions share the same save files? The steam one and the steam with the patch one.

A3: It seems that they do not share the same save files. So I would suggest you should add the patch as soon as possible if you want to play the game with NSFW content. Another way is to use SKIP ingame to go through the progress if you can remember your choices.

Sorry, mind if I check that I've understood you properly? Do you actually drop the whole patch folder (including the folder as well as the files it contains) into the game folder?

I did the same thing and it worked.

When you unzip the patch, you'll get a folder named "sweet-pool-patch-for-steam". Inside that folder is a folder named "patch" (with 3 .npk files inside). Copy the entire "patch" folder to the game folder. That's all.

Did everything outined in the readme, and I'm still getting black screen instead of the CG for the first NSFW scene (The one with Youji in the bath?)
Am I doing something wrong? Should I uninstall the game and then re-install it? The patch folder was copied to the local files. I even overwrote the .npks using the versions from the patch and still no luck.

UPDATE: Verified the integrity. Still no NSFW CGs. :(

Your advice worked for me thank you!!! My game works great with patch. But I also have the same issue with being unable to get achievments. ;_; Got the 'CG gallery complete' one despite having a bunch of empty spaces in the gallery. Didn't get any achievments for the two routes I completed though.

Yeah... but I saw two achievements were unlocked when I palyed the game without the patch... And it's not synchronized with steam! So weird.

Ah, after verifying the integrity, did you copy the patch file and check if there are two different save files? And if you overwirte the file, it might cause something wrong I guess. Originally I overwrote the files and the whole scene got blank too.

I had the same problem! And it seems like what fixed it for me was deleting all my save files (I played some of the game without the patch at first). Before you start the game, in the window where you can change the resolution and everything, click on 'open save folder'. The address for me is C:\Users\(your name)\AppData\Roaming\sweet pool_s

oh my, why, WHY?! would they do it?! (╯°□°）╯︵ ┻━┻ how could they write wrong instructions?! I've been playing for some time thinking how weird it is that there're no nsfw cgs, I guessed that dlc just added text explicit scenes. Thanks for this discussion! time to try that patch again. but :ramangry:
