First of all, please check whether a fix for your issue can be found in common answers on the Help: Troubleshooting and Crashes topic. Also take a look if there are any recent posts in this sub-forum (Technical Support) that are reporting a similar issue.

If you still can't find a solution, please Start a New Discussion and make the topic a short description of what's the issue.

Please DO NOT make the topic of your new discussion "cx_Freeze:Python error in main script". This is how most crashes will appear to the player. Instead try to at least give some context if you can ("Crash during AI turn", "Mouse Problem", etc.)

Please describe the issue as best as you can. If you think it might be relevant, include the make and model of your graphics card, and the OS version you are using.

Please let us know if you are subscribing to any mods from the Workshop. If you do, please include the entire log.txt (see below) in your post, and not just the last 20 lines.

If you're experiencing a crash, please take a minute to find the log - this is how we can figure out what happened. The log is located at:

%localappdata%\.uoc2\log.txt
(just paste the string above into the Address Bar of File Explorer and hit ENTER)

The log is a text file. Double click to open it in Notepad, select last 20 lines and copy/paste them into your post here.
