Shadow of the Tomb Raider - macOS and Linux Support & Patch Info

Please include as much information as possible about your problem and the hardware and software you are using to play the title. If you can access the pre game launcher following the instructions to generate a support report will help us provide assistance as it provides information about your installation and general system details like driver versions and GPU type.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider Release Information

1.0.4 - December 17th 2020 - macOS

Fixes a graphical issue where black and white flickering would appear in some areas of the game.
Fixes a number of minor issues.

1.0.3 - March 10th 2020 - Linux

Fixes not being able to rebind any actions to ctrl or shift.
Fixes a number of minor issues.

1.0.1 - February 17th 2020 - macOS

Fixes Survival Instinct not displaying correctly on some Intel GPU's.
Fixes a number of minor issues.

1.0 - November 6th 2019

Initial release.

Will this run on OSX 10.13 or 10.14? If not, is it likely there will be a patch? Due to other games and software, updating to Catalina is not possible for me.

Thank you for contacting us.

I'm afraid this game is only supported on macOS 10.15 Catalina or later.

We cannot say if there will be a patch in the future for this game, allowing it to be played on earlier macOS versions, we can only suggest playing this game on macOS 10.15 or later.

Processors AMD Fx-8320
Video RX580 8GB (driver official AMD)

Launcher message

Your computer's graphics card or driver is not supported by the game.

the game starts running then freezes and everything only helps reboot

After some time in game all textures fill into black and need to restart to continue, this is very annoying. OS: Ubuntu 18.04 Driver Version: 430.50 GFX: GeForce GTX 1080
