There might even be some clue in the game not being called "Voxel Railway" or "Train Tycoon"
In my opinion there's nothing wrong with some parts being more easy to access than others. If trains were prioritised over trucks, (the other) half of the player base would complain. Not to mention conveyor belts...
After all, game "balance" is a fickle thing and it's probably impossible to please everyone... especially with this kind of "sandboxy" game where everyone has their own ideas of how to play… and wouldn't I hate it if someone took away my shovel…
