You can still use WMR hedsets in Steam VR games for windows under Linux, thus people still want them. If that's a bridge too far for you then sell the headset on ebay to go towards one that is more plug and play. People still want these so PLEASE do not just thrown them in the trash sell them on to someone that will use it.
