the game is made on HSP(hot soup processor) and has a couple of decompilers already, but to modify the game you'll need the hsp itself, and a knowing of hsp lauguage

i've actually succeseffuly decompiled the game and could get a look at game files but i can't instal hsp because of japanese language i think and thus i can't edit the game

i've managed to install hsp and tried to run decompiled code of the hakoniwa explorer, but it didn't work, so, i guess i have to leran how to actually replace resources of the game

Ey tank mate, i've learned how to code a little on hsp, but i still cant run that code yet

not only is this game lewd and vulgar but the controls dont follow the typical jrpg conventions, so it took some time getting used to. for instance, i kept pressing a button to talk to the villagers but instead i attacked them accidentally and they killed me. now normally u would press a button to talk to the npcs but in this game you just walk up to them and walk away. that took a bit getting used to.

How exactly did you do that? also any progress with it? I'm just lookin to make a couple of sprite changes myself

tbh i doubt that you can currently do anything with decompilers available, beceause they produce mostly unreadable and sometimes broken code, so you would have to somehow edit the game exe itself. but basically you have to start with hsp and hsp decompilers i guess
