Later game, when I own one or more shipyards, I'd like to be able to open my shipyard partially so that other companies can buy only noncombat ships. My endgame goal is usually to own all stations, but it is nice to have other companies deal with the massive amount of hauling entailed by owning 100 stations.

This could also be accomplished more generically by "allow external orders" for each ship type individually. For example, I could then allow light ships only or whatever.

Unrelated, I saw a proposal somewhere for allowing stations to be scrapped. A big +1 for that from me. Again, late game, I would like to work towards setting things up so I have one resource produced per sector to simplify routes. I have not had good luck with setting up routes that load and unload in the same sector.
