Fleet Tutorial Not Advancing

For the tutorial you get after you build your first ship/non-PC fleet: I was able to get the tutorial to advance to the point at which it is waiting for the fleet to arrive at some point I designated, and it is currently saying "continue to play as you wait for the fleet to arrive," but it never advanced past that. That is, it is stuck at that point even though I have moved the fleet around several times. Now I just set up a trade route and am ignoring that tutorial for now. Not game-breaking but a bit annoying since it won't be removed from my contract list.

Well, did the fleet join your current sector ? That should be the trigger. Don't forget travels only advance when you let days pass in the orbital map.

I have definitely been in the same sector as the fleet but that was a coincidence during its trade route, i'll take it off the trade route and check to see if that causes the tutorial to trigger.
