In one of my play throughs, I went with a lot of small auto traders, had around 7-10 omens just doing their thing.

Many times I have noticed that they are taking the same trade, which can be easily seen when there is a need for Fleet Supplies. I'd have 4-5 omens go and buy 400 fleet supplies, and only one of them would make the trade, leaving the rest stuck with fleet supplies on them until someone uses a repair bay.

I only noticed this because I had a bunch of them bouncing between two empty sectors orbiting Adena, when I went to check on them, they all had 400 fleet supplies on them.
