Thanks for the report !
I did have trade ships on those routes harmed in the attacks, and lost some stations.
The pirates then decided they wanted peace, and everything seems to be working normally again.
- you end a travel in a sector with ennemies ?
- an ennemies end a travel in your sector ?
- a company with ships in your sector declare war ?
- you declare war to a company with ships in your sector ?
The ships are too far at the beginning of the battle ?
Only uncontrollable ship are out of range, or alors functional ships ?
AI Ship should try to stay near the center of the sector, but if there are heavily damaged or uncontrollable, there is no way they can stop and they will drift into space. However, no healthy ship should be outside sector bounds.
Thanks
I think they probably get out there by being crippled and then repair out there. I'm not sure why they don't come back. The healthy ones don't seem to return to the middle to fight me, either, so maybe after they go too far the AI has some kind of pathfinding issue.
