If you select Dock to another station in the same system, the ship will undock then 'stall' while the test display for docking status flickers between two messages. If you press 'P', the ship will then autopilot to the expected station and dock.

Edit: So the undocking part is correct, the flickering is just the craft station keeping waiting for player input. Before the last patch, it would proceed to go into autopilot to the station you selected to dock to automatically - now it waits for player to input 'P' to go into autopilot. I'm not sure if this is what you intended.
