Title. Bought the game a few weeks ago and enjoying it a lot. However I have a problem that my telescope would stop every time it discovers a new sector. It has all required materials and money but won't work until I upgrade it to the next level, then it will work and stop again after discovering another sector. Is this how telescope supposed to work?

And two bonus questions: can one do taxi and meteorite interception missions remotely? When I'm in another sector, I mean.
