Ships missing textures! (FIXED)

This bug was fixed on 01/10/2019.

All of the ships except for the starter ship are missing textures in my game. Is this a bug? How can I fix it? It's very disappointing to finally get a Leviathan and it is missing the textures.

The material has no texture, like in this example:

Please help me resolve this issue. I really like this game and would like to be able to experience it properly.

Hi ! I believe this issue is caused by limitations of OpenGL in the Nvidia driver for this specific hardware. We use many different textures as part of ship rendering, and what you're describing sounds like the driver's threshold for that was reached.

Vulkan is definitely the most modern approach - we would default to it if some drivers didn't still have issues with that.
