Canuck Play stated on their Facebook page last week that the "PC version will come later" and that the priority is on the console releases at present. I hope that means the PC version will in fact be released and is not going to be contingent upon console version revenues.

I cannot imagine them leaving the PC market, it's the modding that makes these indie games more interesting IMO. But I'm sure the money is more in the console market so can't blame them.

Late to the party on this thread and this game - can't believe I somehow missed the release of CF 2017, as I've long wanted such a game. I'm admittedly not very knowledgeable about the game and it's next planned edition.

So a question I have; will Maximum Football 2018 still feature the Canadian league rules and teams present in CF 2017?

[Edit] Nevermind, I found the info on the Canuckplay website and can see Maximum will allow for Canadian teams & ruiles. I'm interested in knowing the release date too, as having just disovered this game I'd wait for Maximum to purchase. Actually...no, I'm happy someones doing CDN rules and pseudo teams and want to support them, so I'm going to buy this today and purchase Maximum when it's finally relaeased - hopefully that's before Grey Cup weekend. :)

No idea. Canuck Play seems 100% invested in the console market, including getting Doug Flutie's name added to the brand, and they don't have unlimited time for development. Bottom line: not holding my breath.

ya,,,on their facebook page they said because of Canadian Football 2017 low sales that they are only going to be putting it on consoles. So once again PC is getting the shaft, for any type of football game. :(

I stopped holding my breath for this almost a year ago and went with Axis Football 2018 instead. While with it I don't get to play with CDN rules and team, I still have an enjoyable and quality game of football.

I volunteered to be the Steam representative when Canadian Football 2017 came out as I was excited to be a part of the Canadian Football on PC. Unfortunately, Dave's focus has shifted strictly to console and the last time he's logged in to Steam was 529 days ago. He's allowed to do what he wants, but I can't say I'm not disappointed.

That being said, I'm revoking my admin privileges on this page and leaving Canadian Football in my past. Thanks everyone who purchased the game and cared, it's an unfortunate turn of events.
