Feedback and suggestions incoming
I just got the game yesterday and I like what I see. I realize the release date is approaching fast, nonetheless I'd like to run these suggestions by you for your consideration.

I think there's still a lot of ways the core flight mechanic could be expanded upon. I like the default controls as-is, but it would be cool if there was a way to do backflips or rolling, perhaps with the caveat that you aren't as good at flying upside-down. Another possibility would be to allow some morphs to cling to the sides or bottom of voxels, for example bats. It also frustrates me that the wind pushes me as much as it currently does when I am dive-bombing. Lastly, and this is sort of a bug, I like the fact that you can use the slow down key to take off of the ground, but right now it doesn't seem to work for very small morphs.

Not strictly flying related, but it would be interesting if your avatar could be "on fire," or more generally, if it could have some sort of effect where your avatar glows a certain color and emits particles. The effect could wear off over time or be dissipated by the wind. Maybe it could be caused by touching a certain glowing plant. Another idea: if you are a large morph, other creatures might want to ride on you or follow you. I guess these things sort of fall along the lines of adding more variety when flying/exploring.

On the morphing side, it would be cool to be able to bind different morphs to hotkeys, rather than the current "all or nothing" approach.

While I don't have any specific suggestions, any improvements to the terrain/environment would be equally cool to see.

Hi,

Thanks for the feedback! A lot is planned: clouds, better vegetation, different size levels (some huge), better morphing and more variety in how to do it, waterfalls and other particle emitters, and bird effects like you ask for. And pro controls of course. I've been experimenting, but it's a struggle to get right.
